Update on the rules.

Hi everyone!
I’ve uploaded a small clarity update for Double Cheater (Free Edition).
A few early readers noticed a reference to Chapter 10 even though the Free Edition ends on Chapter 5 — and yes, that was intentional.
Double Cheater is a game about skipping ahead, bending structure, and filling in the blanks with your own creativity. To reinforce that spirit, I added a short note explaining the “missing” Chapter 10 and giving players two options:
1. Make up your own temporary Chapter 10 rule.
Double Cheater thrives on creative cheating, so players are encouraged to invent their own ending mechanic or twist.
2. Or discover the real Chapter 10 in the Deluxe Edition.
The Deluxe version will include expanded tools, advanced oracles, and the full Ending Engine that completes the system.
This update doesn’t change the rules — it simply clarifies intent and adds flavor to the Free Edition.
Both the original file and the updated version are available for now.
Thanks to everyone who has checked out the game so far. More supplements and releases are on the way!
